Alessia lives and works near Turin (Italy) with her family. She’s a wildlife artist known and appreciated throughout Europe as well as America. She began her artistic career very young, graduated from art school and was distinguished right from the start for her talents. She continued her studies and graduated in Restoration and Conservation of Cultural and Environmental Heritage obtaining the assessment of 110/110 cum laude.
After the course of study, Alessia could not help but to follow her passion for drawing and today she is completely dedicated to wildlife art. Her love for the black and white has led her to perform works in pencil and charcoal. She also experiments with different techniques learned from her travels, such as entries made using bamboo brushes from Southeast Asia. Alessia Griglio portrays every kind of animal and, as a result of numerous requests, creates commissioned portraits of hunters immortalizing the most beautiful moments of their hunting experiences.
She frequently exhibits her work in solo as well as group exhibitions around Europe and in America. In 2011, she was chosen as a partner by Beretta Holding to begin a series of artistic collaborations, set forth in the various galleries that the company has around the world. For them she has always created the clothing catalog and was the author of works published in the famous calendar for 2012. In 2013, she collaborated with Swarovski Optic.
