Born in New York, Adriano Manocchia graduated with a Bachelor degree from Pace University, and spent the following twelve years as a photojournalist traveling the world to cover news events. In 1984, he turned his attention to fine art, adopting the painting techniques of the Old Masters. A number of awards and special projects have marked his recognition in the traditional art field as a foremost contemporary American Sporting artist. He now resides in a picturesque community rich in art history, just minutes away from his inspiring Battenkill.
